Must have boots

It was a Tuesday night, I was minding my own business, perusing on ssense.com.
Then I saw them.
It was love at first sight.
They were all I ever needed, all I ever dreamed of: horseback riding with a masculine twist.
The it-boots from Givenchy’s latest collection. I obviously pinned them the minute I discovered them. Being that it was still scorching hot outside I did not buy them right away, but put them high on my Fall wish list.

On Saturday night, I was mindlessly flipping through the May issue of Vogue, looking at beautiful Natalia Vodianova ( who came 3rd on the Forbes top-earning models list this year, estimated to have earned only $8.6 million in one year.) . There they were again. On Natalia’s legs, taunting me. Calling my name. She was wearing MY boots.

It was too much for me to handle, now I ~~wanted~~ needed them even more…A quick click to the Ssense site, and I see there are only two pairs left. One of them is a 37! My size! Red Alert! We are running out of time! They could sell out any second! I typed the numbers of my credit card as fast as lightening. THE. BOOTS. ARE. MINE.
I received them on July 16th, 40 weeks pregnant. Dear God, these are even better in person. Luckily my legs are not swollen, so I have no problem slipping them on. I strut my stuff, walking around my house in my new boots, in love.

In the excitement of putting them on, I didn’t figure I would need help to take them off… I was stuck for an hour. Picture me, with my big belly, in my shorts and the hottest knee- high boots… What a sight! When Jerry finally came home he had a good laugh and took his time to save me and pull them off…That night I gave birth, almost wearing the chicest, nicest, sexiest boots.
