I’ve missed you so much InFASHIONistas! Happy new year!
It’s been such a long while… I hope you kept yourselves busy and InFASHIONated while I was gone!
You all probably remember that when I started this blog, my intention was to prove to myself and to the world that a woman can have it all and do it all: juggling parenting and a thriving career, no sacrifices. I still stand by these truths, and hope to continue to show you that you can get the life you want, no ifs ands or buts.
However, there was a bit of a miscalculation on my part.
While it’s true that you can work like a boss in 5” heels, and then kick a ball with your kids, while planning to host a great homemade dinner at your house, blogging about it was just a tad too ambitious. (Wait, I can’t believe I just said that. There is no such thing as too ambitious! Rephrase…) a tad too much to squeeze in my crazy schedule.
So I took my time to think this over, regrouped and re-discussed the direction for InFashionated, and more importantly how I could fit it in my run-a-company/run-a-family/run-a-marathon/run-errands/designer/ mom/always-on-a-plane-somewhere/Celine-obsessed/organize-a-pirate-themed-birthday-party life.
You know me by now, I like things well done.
InFASHIONated is no exception. I really love this blog, and I want it to continue being a source of inspiration for working moms, stay at home moms, and for working women with no kids too- even for guys, the more the merrier!
My initial desire, the driving force behind this blog, was to give you a glimpse of the chaos behind the scenes and what really goes on in my daily life.
My life is never the same from week to week and I am #alwaysonthego and I want to take you with me, and share to good, the bad and the hard.
Like with everything, first you plant a seed and then you watch it grow. When Eran and I started Mackage 17 years ago, we were selling our jackets from the trunk of a car. Since then, we have watched our business take proportions we would have never dreamed to be possible! Same with my kids…I watch my sons grow into their own, and I discover new things about them everyday. And this is my favorite part of any creative endeavor: the surprise of what it becomes.
I had many visions and desires when it came to InFASHIONated, but this is where I feel the most aligned: making it my online home, a real insider look at my life, a diary where I get to share how I juggle all the aspects of my life and what i go through.
So here we go… my 2016 resolution! I will be sure to catch you up on all that has happened since the last time I posted, with some flashbacks…
