The Review: Lim for Target

August 27, 2013

I received an email a couple of weeks ago from my friend Sarah urging me to follow a link to see the entire Lim for Target collection, She wrote “I think I just died a little, I want all of it”.
I clicked on the link and sure enough, I immediately understood her excitement. I was dubious at first when I heard about the collab and a little disappointed that one of my favorite designers had chosen this venue instead of say H&M or Topshop… Target for me was nothing more than poorly executed concepts by designers on the wane, and never solicited an ounce of desire on my part.

Well, once again, Lim has stolen my heart and kept me on my toes. The collection is a real compilation of Lim classics: Feminine, modern, edgy. From the “BOOM” print, to faux-leather paneling, bejeweled sweaters and tuxedo jackets, infashionistas on a budget will finaly be able to enjoy the best of this phenomenal designer has to offer. Dresses, trousers, shirts, shoes, it’s all there!

He even offers a replica of his dead cool trapeze bag in super trendy mustard~WOW (in faux leather).
Phillip Lim has proven his genius once enough, and continues to lead the fashion pack with a great deal of gusto, and Infashionation. Gosh, I HEART him so much.

PS: What do you ladies ( and gents) think? Will you stand in line? Do you covet any piece in there?
